From Canada and the US: Two RISE fellows visit CRC projects in 2016
26 April 2016
Two of our CRC 841 projects will welcome this summer RISE students from Canada and the US: For three months Gianluca D’Antonio from the University of Victoria will support the experimental work of Johanna Blocker, doctoral student in A6 – (dys) regulation of cellular HCV-specific immune response. For two and a half months, Connor McKenney of the North Carolina State University will accompany the research of Julia Bolik, PhD student in C1 – The role of gp130-trans-signaling in liver regeneration and cancer: therapeutic perspectives in Kiel.
The RISE program of the DAAD permits every year short-term research stays of North American and British students at German universities and research institutions. The foreign students are supervised by doctoral / PhD students and support their research acticities.
