Gebäude Nord 27
The research training group integrated into the SFB 841 serves as structured framework for training, qualification and supervision of graduate students of medicine and natural science. They will be trained in fundamental research and translational aspects of infection, inflammation, immune-regulation and regeneration to become independent scientists. The joined curriculum includes lectures, journal clubs, seminars in biostatistics and novel methodologies as well as soft skills such as scientific writing and good laboratory practice in Medical Science. The integrated research training group also affiliates principle investigators of the University Medical Center outside the SFB who study inflammation and regeneration and who belong to the departments of Nephrology, Neurology or Neuropathology thereby extending and improving training and supervision, allowing affiliation of additional Medical Students and increasing integration of the SFB 841 into the Medical School.
